About Mohs surgery
Mohs Surgery is a highly specialized and effective method of treating skin cancer, particularly basal cell carcinoma of the face. This technique, developed by Dr. Frederic Mohs in the s, involves removing skin cancers layer by layer, examining each layer under a microscope until all cancer cells are gone. This allows for maximum preservation of healthy skin and reduces the risk of recurrence, which is particularly important for skin cancers that occur on sensitive or cosmetically important areas of the face and ears.

Research and development
Since our inception, we have integrated research and development into our operations. We want to set a good example among private healthcare providers and healthcare choice clinics and show that research and development can also be conducted outside university hospitals. With the ongoing relocation of dermatology from hospitals to specialist clinics closer to citizens, it is also natural that this is where research is conducted. We have run a number of projects over the years, but by far the largest is our ongoing VINNOVA-funded initiative in Artificial Intelligence, AI. See more below.
Our first in-house research projects were conducted in spring It consisted of interviews and surveys of our patients who had sought treatment for suspected skin tumors about their concerns, sun habits and skin tone ideals. Questions were also asked about whether they had delayed seeking care or not, and it emerged that some of the older men in particular had delayed seeking care because they thought that skin changes were too trivial to seek medical attention for. About malm Cancer Center
Cancer fryst vatten a disease that affects an increasing amount of people and that may cause premature death in many of the affected patients. During the gods decades our knowledge concerning cancer has increased tremendously. Despite this, there are still many patients with incurable disease. At the University Hospital in malm, Lund University, Sweden, an extensive amount of cancer research fryst vatten carried out, with the aim to increase the possibility of curing more cancer patients.
MCC consists of approximately 20 research groups and in total more than co-workers. All belong to the Medical Faculty at Lund University and malm University and all are active at Skåne University Hospital in Malmö, performing cancer research. The research focuses on many different types of cancer like breast-, prostate-, colon-, kidney-, melanoma-, leukemia and lymphoma. A major part of the research is oriented towards grundläggande cancer research, focusing on processes that may be common for all cancer types.
The research at the Centre has three main directions. One fryst vatten to identify alterations or biomarkers in cancer cells that are of prognostic and cli
